Curug Gendang is located in Sukarame Village, Carita District, Pandeglang Banten Regency. This waterfall has a height of 7 meters and a width of around 10 meters, and a depth of 13 meters. This waterfall is located at an altitude of 170 meters above sea level.
Historically, Curug Gendang itself comes from Sundanese, namely “curug” which means waterfall and “gendang” which means traditional music that is played by being beaten like a drum in modern music. However, the drum is beaten using bare hands. This waterfall itself was originally called Citajur Curug. Because of the sound of the gurgling of the water like a drum, then the local people called it Gendang Curug.
The height of this waterfall reaches 7 meters with a pond depth of about 13 meters with an area of 10 meters evenly. The scenery around the waterfall is a feast for the eyes. The surrounding scenery is still beautiful and the air is still fresh. It makes this waterfall as one of the best spots for vacation around West Java.
