Ujung Kulon National Park is located at the western end of the island of Java. Ujung Kulon is an area designated as a National Park area with an area of 122,956 hectares. On that area, 44,000 hectares are in the form of oceans.
On February 1, 1992, the UNESCO World Heritage Commission established this national park as a World Heritage Site in the Nature category.

The location of Ujung Kulon National Park is in Banten Province. The exact location is in Sumur Subdistrict and Cimanggu Subdistrict, Pandeglang Regency, Banten. This national park can be used as one of the tourist destinations in the province of Banten.
The route to Ujung Kulon National Park
If tourists want to visit there. From Serang City, the Capital of Banten Province, it will only take around 2-3 hours by car.
Tourists can use private vehicles or buses by taking the inter-provincial road to the Sumur sub-district, Pandeglang Regency, Banten.
If departing from the City of Tangerang. Travel for a landline takes approximately four hours using a bus or motor vehicle.
Entrance ticket to Ujung Kulon National Park
Entrance tickets to the National Park area are also very cheap. On weekdays the ticket is only Rp. 5,000. While I get a weekend fee of Rp. 7,500.
While if it comes in groups, with a minimum number of 10 people, the ticket cost drops to only Rp. 3,000 working days and Rp. 4,500 on weekends.

- Snorkeling & Surfing on Panaitan Island
Panaitan Island is an island with a rocky coast in the far west of the tip of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula. This island has an area of ± 17,000 ha. This place still has a virgin forest which is a habitat for flora and fauna. The forest is a combination of coastal, mangrove and lowland rainforest.
In addition to forests, Panaitan Island there are historical relics of ancient Hindus such as Archa Ganesha. Historical relics on the white sandy island is on the Peak of Mount Raksa. The island with beautiful coral reefs also has quite high waves. No wonder so many visitors surf the sea in Panaitan Island.

This area is a habitat for Javan rhinos so tourism management is restricted. There are guard posts in Karang Ranjang, Cidaon and Cibunar if there are things to ask about in this area. In addition to the cultural tourism of Goa Sang Hyang Sirah, there are other things that visitors can do.
Visitors can do tracking, camping and wildlife viewing. For tracking, there is a fixed track in an area of ± 38,000 ha. For camping, you can do it at Tanjung Layar. Whereas observation of wildlife can be done in Cidaon and Cigenter Pasture.
