Sikarim Waterfall meets everybody’s expectations when it comes to a holiday destination in Dieng Plateau. Considered a scenic and tranquil tourist attraction, the waterfall is perfect for relaxing and sightseeing.
Sikarim Waterfall is situated in the sub-district of Kejajar. From Wonosobo Town, it’s just around 20 km to drive north.
Once you enter the Garung Sub-district, take a left for around 3 km and proceed to the village of Mlandi. An ojek (local motorcycle taxi) may be needed for another ride.
While it takes some time to get there, the effort is very satisfying. This also features a wasabi farm, a nearby village, and stunning mountain views.

Sikarim Waterfall is 24 meters high and presents a rugged landscape. Around the waterfall, visitors will see a lot of fascinating vegetation. Not to forget there is a magnificent backdrop on the horizon, Sikunir Peak.

The starting point is Mlandi Village, where visitors can plan for trekking. As for the tip, it’s best to not use a car because the road is a little tough.
Riding a motorcycle is permitted, but it can cost too much money. The best idea is to employ a local guide who knows the most convenient way to get to the venue. It also helps visitors carry artifacts or possessions.
It takes about an hour to get to the Sikarim Waterfall from the Mlandi Village.
After the visitors have reached the site, they can see an indescribably beautiful and soothing waterfall with a breathtaking hill in the back. Some vegetation also covering the spot, providing nice shade.
