Wedi Awu Beach is located in Balearjo, Purwodadi Village, Tirtoyudo District, Malang Regency. From Malang, it takes around 2.5 hours to get there.
Wedi Awu is a beautiful beach that is rarely visited by people. This beach is also a hidden paradise for surfers. The waves on this beach can reach three meters. Because of that, this beach is one of the beaches in Malang that is ideal for surfing.

Every visitor who wants to enjoy this beach will pay a very cheap entrance fee, which is Rp 5,000.
The route to Wedi Awu
Going to the beach is recommended to use two-wheeled vehicles and make sure the condition of the vehicle is in good condition. Although most of the roads are paved, the roads are pretty narrow. The road is winding, with up and down and few sharp turns through the ravine.
From Malang, you can continue the journey to Dampit Subdistrict and then proceed to Tirtoyudo District. Turn right at the Tangsi T-junction in Tirtoyudo Village. From the T-junction, you have to drive for around 30 minutes to reach this beach.

- Snorkeling
Do you like the colorful marine life but afraid of depth and don’t dare to dive? You can do snorkel here. Because this beach is still natural and clean, you can easily find small fish and even starfish. The waves are not large around the shallow water. Because of that, this place can make you more relaxed to linger in the water.
- Photography
It is mandatory to take pictures wherever you travel. Well, you can find many interesting photos spot around this beach. You can take some photos on the beach, near the reef, among the rocks, bushes. If you bring a camera that can operate underwater, you can take picture with the fishes while snorkeling.
- Surfercamp
This surf camp is a haven for tourists who like surfing. To enjoy Wedi Awu Beach, you don’t need to be afraid. On the surf camp, you will be taught by professionals surfer. The Surfing Community also founded this surf camp.
