Red Island Beach is located in Pancer Hamlet, Sumberagung Village, Pesanggaran District, in the southern part of Banyuwangi Regency.
The name Red Island Beach comes from the existence of a small hill with a height of about 200 meters from the red soil which is located near the beach.
On this beach there is a temple that is often used by Hindus to perform mekiyis religious ceremonies. Red Island beach is a stretch of white sand that extends up to 3 km.
The sand on this beach has a white color and sometimes looks a bit pink or reddish.

Red Island Beach is a destination for surfers while in Banyuwangi Regency. This Red Island beach has even hosted international surfing competitions.
