A Bay Beach
Banyu Anjlok beach is shaped like a bay, which is actually part of the beach group of a larger bay. The waves on this beach is calmer rather than usual other beaches on the southern coast of Java.

A waterfall that directly meets the sea
The main uniqueness of this place is there’s a waterfall that directly falls to the sea. Banyu Anjlok itself means falling water, which is fresh water from the land that falls directly into the seawater.
When the tide is high, the freshwater from the cliffs will immediately fall and meet the seawater. But when the seawater is receding, this waterfall falls into the beach sand. The water on the beach becomes brackish because of the mixing of fresh water and saltwater from the sea.
