Telaga Nilem (some call it Telaga Nilam) is one of the natural attractions in Kuningan Regency, West Java. The location is adjacent to Reumis Lake. Telaga Nilem’s location is quite strategic because it is located in three district boundaries, namely Kuningan, Cirebon, and Majalengka.
The distinct feature of Nilem Lake is that the water is very clear so that we can see the bottom of the lake. Besides, its location at the foot of Mount Ciremai makes the atmosphere surrounding the area feel cooler.
Cost / Price of Entry to Telaga Nilem
For those who bring a private vehicle, the initial ticket price is only around Rp. 25,000 for two people. There is also an additional fee in the form of parking for Rp. 5,000 when you get to Patchouli Pond.
Location and Way to Lake Nilem
Telaga Nilam is located in Kadeula Village, Pasawahan District, Kuningan, West Java. It only takes a few minutes from Cirebon or Majalengka.
If you depart from Cirebon, the distance you need to travel if 24 km or 30 minutes long trip.
You don’t need to be afraid or worried about the road, because the contours of the road are relatively good. Along the way, you will be treated to amazing views of rice fields and mountains as the background.
Facilities in Telaga Nilem Kuningan include motorboats, water bikes, gazebos, toilets, cafeterias, souvenir shops, food stalls, and parking lots. While facilities on the lake there are motorcycle boats and paddle ducks.
Its location which is at the border point between Cirebon, Majalengka, and Kuningan makes this tourist attraction in Kuningan easily accessible. The route is in line with Telaga Remis, if from Cirebon City it is around 24 km to the south, while from the city center Kuningan is 35 km to the north.
Tips When Visiting Telaga Nilem
- Bring a camera, because many instagramable spots can be explored, especially the lake. You can take spectacular photos if your camera can operate under the water.
- Bring a change of clothes and toiletries for you to use after playing on the lake. Do not forget to bring towels, shampoo, soap, etc.
